I became a practicing psychologist because I thought I could help people deal with problems that didn’t have to be. I wanted to help them lead more satisfying lives. Over forty years of experience has proven that to be the case.

I went to college at Claremont McKenna College in southern California. I took a year out and worked on ships to Australia and back. After graduation I spent two years in the Army in Germany. I took another year out and worked and toured western Europe. All of my graduate work was at Columbia University in New York City.

I have worked in university counseling centers, prisons, management consulting, and eleven U.S. military installations around the world. I can find common ground with almost anyone!

My greatest strength as a therapist is listening. By thoroughly hearing and understanding you and your issues, together we can forge workable solutions which lead to a more satisfying life.
